We are looking for a Controls and Contract Administrator to provide a full range of administrative, knowledge management and procurement support to team members and senior level management of Resolution Copper’s Underground Operations and Maintenance group.
What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity to be part of the Resolution Copper team which hosts one of the world’s largest untapped copper resources. Copper from the proposed mine will help wire a rapidly growing world and drive the new green economy, powering everything from wind turbines to electric cars. Reporting to the Contract Administrator – Shaft Sinking you will be:
Maintaining project files and records, calendars and diaries and coordinating meeting arrangements and implementing administrative standards for the project using business software applications (e.g. word processing, presentation and spreadsheet) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes and may prepare responses to routine correspondence and inquiries
Managing all document controls to ensure compliance with the project and company strategy, systems, processes, procedures and practices. Ensuring the quality assurance of document management and controls in terms of accuracy and adherence to project, company, and regulatory standards and requirements
Supporting senior level employees including Project Managers and Senior Engineers as required with document management and control to ensure alignment with standards.
Providing support to Underground Operations & Maintenance (UG O&M ) team and vendors
Coordinating the process with procurement service providers to optimize the delivery of key operational materials and services.
Coordinating the budget, forecast and actual costs to Project Controls team
What you will need for this role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A High School Diploma or equivalent
4 – 5 years’ of prior experience working with administration
Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite use (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
Experience in procurement processes.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
Experience working within the mining industry or construction projects
Experience with SAP and ProjectWise software
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
A Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or equivalent
