We are looking for a HR Business Partner, Copper Americas (Resolution Copper) to support our Rio Tinto Resolution Copper Mine operations. You will support the achievement of business objectives by translating business needs and context into a human resources strategy for these sites and ensuring its effective execution.
What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly ambitious individual seeking a new challenge. Reporting to the HRBP - Copper Americas, you will be:
Developing human resource strategy and supporting growth programs to build team and organizational effectiveness based on business strategies, objectives, and content
Supporting and influencing leadership to define, build, and maintain employee engagement
Proactively identifying threats and opportunities to business objectives through data, conversations and observations; and diagnosing root causes to determine the required intervention
Engaging with leaders to position the need for change in relation to business objectives, and providing support to deliver, manage, and sustain the change
Collaborating with Areas of Expertise, Global Business Services, and other internal service providers to inform the design of HR solutions, processes, programs, tools, and systems
Providing training to employees on-site
What you will need for this role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of prior HR business partnering experience
The ability to understand and utilize HR metrics to track and improve upon key processes
Extensive experience coaching, engaging, and guiding senior leaders by building effective business-focused relationships
Sound business acumen with high level analytical skills
Strong facilitation skills
