We are looking for Mine Haul Truck Operators to join the Kennecott Utah Copper team on a 12-month (Casual & Temporary) contract and contribute to safe and efficient mining operations.

What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity to further your career in one of the world's leading open pit mining operations. Working a rotating 12-hour shift and reporting to the Supervisor - Operations, you will be:
Actively engaging with employees in discussions and initiatives that keep everyone safe and promote the “Zero Harm” safety culture
Receiving instructions from Supervisors and other leaders related to operating or controlling assigned equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
Observing and inspecting equipment, material, gauges and indicators and making adjustments as indicated
What you will need for this role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A high school diploma or GED
Ability and commitment to work rotating 12 hour shifts (Both days and nights)
A constant commitment to approaching tasks safely and intelligently
It will also be beneficial if you have:
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Prior work experience in a mining, construction or other applicable industrial setting
